Only 5 more days till Groundbreaking Sunday!

VBS got off to a great start yesterday … It was good to see Rich and Carol Bonham, missionaries in Germany serving with Greater Europe Mission in church on Sunday. They are also helping out at VBS this week.

The cover story for Time Magazine pictures a hand holding a glowing cross, with the headline Should Christians Convert Muslims?. The issue contains the cover story plus three associated articles. Overall, the treatment is fair, considering that Time is a general-interest newsmagazine. By the way, the headline is misleading. Christians are called to preach the gospel to everyone; only the Holy Spirit can convert the heart.

My current bike riding mileage for the year stands at 1522. I did 37 miles yesterday along the I&M Canal.
