7:30 AM The latest entry in the Crosswalk weblog is called 1 Recruit Every 17.142857 years. 7:14 AM I was touched by this story about a football coach, a dreaded disease, and a wife who never stopped loving. 7:12 AM Nice note from Scott Mahlstedt:

Back in October of 2003, we sold some books to Pastor John Nolte of the Missionary Boat Glory to Thee (see below for the original correspondence). John and Gaydean ended up living at a marina in Bradenton, FL. Last January Doreen and I attended their Sunday service at a riverside park in Bradenton and subsequently struck up a friendship with them. Their original plan included going to Cuba but for various reasons they were unable to get there. Which brings me to the reason for this email – Last week I heard from John that he sent some of the Anchor books to Cuba with some friends to be distributed in any way possible. John thought they would probably be given away in a marketplace or something. Just thought you would like to know that your book made it to Cuba.
