5:57 PM Arrived in Tupelo a few minutes ago. A quick trip. We stopped at the Lifeway Christian Store in Tupelo and met the manager. They’ve been featuring “He’s God and We’re Not.”

Right now we’re at Alan’s camp off the Natchez Trace a few miles north of Tupelo—way out in the woods. Right now Alan is waxing eloquent with some old memories of 23 years ago when we lived in Downey, California, and Alan lived with us for a few months while he did a surgery residency at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills.

6:15 AM Here’s the Legacy Campaign prayer request for today: “Praise God that we must go through many hardships to enter His kingdom (Acts 14:22).”

Nick is packed, we’re up and about, and we leave for Samford in just a few minutes. Tonight we’ll stay with my brother Alan in Tupelo, Mississippi.
