1:22 PM Just received this note regarding the missionary boat “Glory to Thee” that was docked in the path of Hurricane Charlie in Florida:

Hi Prayer Partners! We have just recieved word from our friends Bro. Tom and Jerry that after visiting Glory to Thee found that she is upright and still on her stands, with only minor damage!! God did indeed hear and put his hand over her. Boats around her were down and severely damaged. She lost the flybridge bimini canvas and has a few bumps and bruises but all in all, intact!! Thank you as we prepare to go down and make repairs. Now Unto Him, John and Gaydean

George Cominos called this AM with news that the hurricane veered south and missed their home on an island near Tampa. Heard similar good news from Paul Lavenau on Sunday. Let’s continue to pray for the many people who suffered so much from the hurricane. 1:22 PM Just finished the first big project. On to the next one. 9:00 AM Yesterday I said I had two big projects to get done. One is now almost done. If I can finish it today, then I can tackle the other one tomorrow and do my century ride on Thursday. That’s the plan. We’ll see how things work out. 8:59 AM On Sunday we gave away almost 500 copies of “The Truth About Same-Sex Marriage” by Erwin Lutzer. We plan to make the book available again this Sunday. 8:58 AM Today’s entry in the Crosswalk weblog is called The Bulldog and the Skunk.
