10:42 PM Today’s entry in the Crosswalk weblog is called A Soldier in Iraq Learns to Wait. 10:13 PM News and Notes … Fred and Nita Kirkwood celebrated their 60th anniversary yesterday. When asked how they did it, Nita simply smiled and said that she and Fred were starting on their next 60 years … I enjoyed hearing the Summer Breakaway Men’s Ensemble do a bluegrass version of “This World is Not My Home” in the traditional. I told the congregation that where I come from, they call that classical music … At the 10 AM contemporary service, when Proclaim sang “Home” by Von Matthews, the congregation gave them a standing ovation … Great to see Megan Kudo who has just returned from a summer trip to western China … Would you like to know about the Koran from a Christian point of view?
