11:16 PM Nice note from a friend who attended the 11:45 service today:
As I was leaving the church, I heard several people continuing to sing “The B-I-B-L-E.” Heading for the train as I was walking in front of the post office, two or three young ladies whom sounded like teenagers but were probably older, were skipping to “The B-I-B-L-E” as they sang in unison. They were about 20 yards behind me. Their beautiful and childish voices brought back fond memories.

6:29 PM Two more articles on the crisis in the Episcopal Church: one by Jack Kelly, and an excellent analysis by Melik Kaylan.

6:28 PM Here’s the Legacy Campaign prayer request for today: “Pray that we will wait on the Lord and renew our strength (Isaiah 40:31).”

“Equipping and encouraging people to keep believing in Jesus”

“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
