9:06 AM The free book offer has officially closed. I have received far more than 250 requests for copies of “All That You Could Ask or Think.” I wish I had more copies avaiable. We’ve heard from people all over the world—New Zealand, Brazil, Indonesia, South Africa, South Korea, Uganda,Trinidad and Tobago, Canada, Scotland, and from all across the United States: Aiken, SC; Coila, MS; Tuscumbia, AL; Jamestown, ND; Newaygo, MI; Venice, FL; Washburn, ME; Holmes Beach, FL; Ponchatoula, LA; Weatherford, TX, and many, many others. I think we could easily have sent out 400 copies. Special thanks to everyone who contacted me. The book should be available in bookstores in two or three weeks. 9:05 AM First Awana Olympics update: I was on my way to Panera Bread to buy some bagels when I saw our church bus on Harlem Avenue taking the older kids to Lyons Township High School for the Awana Olympics. I’ll post the results on the weblog later today. 9:04 AM It’s the first day of spring in Oak Park and it’s reasonably warm—52 degrees. Could be better but it’s been a lot worse.
