10:36 AM Today’s entdry on the Crosswalk weblog is called Answering My Mail—Round 2. 10:08 AM Pretty tired this morning. We arrived home from Maranatha a few minutes before midnight. Marlene started the wash, we unpacked a bit, and then went to bed. We both got up early, I went over to the church to check on things, and Marlene starting repacking our bags. We leave for New York in two hours for a week of ministry at Word of Life in Schroon Lake. This is the part of traveling that wears you out. I start speaking tomorrow morning in New York and will finish up on Friday AM. I spoke 12 times at Maranatha and will probably speak 13-15 times at Word of Life. I can tell already that we’ll be glad to come home next Friday night. One final note about Maranatha. It was a great week in every respect. You never know going into a conference what will happen, but this week God touched many hearts, including our own. We spent lots of time talking with conference attenders—more time than we usually do. We both felt encouraged by those conversations. On another note, we rode our bikes a lot this week. I managed to ride 158 miles. Marlene and I rode together four times. That’s the news. Onward to New York.
