6:29 PM Today’s entry in the Crosswalk weblog is called Some Good Counsel for 2005 from Jonathan Edwards. 6:28 PM 12 miles. Time to start climbing that big mountain again. 1:57 PM Last year I rode my bike 3452 miles. Since I started riding a few years ago, the grand total is 17492. About three years ago, Skip Olson challenged me to ride around the world, approximately 24,000 miles. Two more years and I should make it easily, God willing. 1:56 PM We leave for China in 12 days. 1:53 PM Alan is here, Mark and Nick are here. Betty and Kathleen are here from Florence, Alabama. Andy (my older brother) and Megan (their oldest daughter) were supposed to come with Betty and Kathleen but Megan got sick. So it’s a family reunion of sorts at our house. At this moment Marlene and Betty are at a yarn shop in Wheaton. They are both into knitting so I guess this is the perfect way to kick off the new year. Meanwhile a football game is on but I don’t think anyone is watching it. Alan and I are going to go for a bike ride late this afternoon.
