4:31 PM I ate lunch today with Ralph Wingate, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Normal, Illinois. They are doing a great job reaching students at Illinois State University, drawing nearly 300 students every week to their services. 4:13 PM Calling all Men! Only three days until First Watch. Through an inside source, I have discovered the this week’s menu is biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and sausage. That alone ought to make you set your alarm clock early. We start serving breakfast at 5:55 AM. 4:12 PM Bo Jackson! (See last Friday’s entry.) 4:08 PM Wonderful to see so many missionaries yesterday. Had a chance to chat with John and Anne Ockers, Jack and Esther Lilley, Aletta Bell, Lamar and Joanna Salley, Paul and Christy Knudson, Gordon and Daphnie McRostie, Ryan Hannah, Rich Bonham, and Bob and Amber Leland. Also talked with Greg and Carolyn Kirshner. And I saw Ray and Ruth Leaf, Jonathan King, and Tim and Debra Carpenter and the Nick and Senja Bair. The Leafs, Aletta Bell and Ryan Hannah are giving reports in the Dining Room at 7 PM tonight.
