6:44 PM Would you like to see what I would look like if I played for the NBA? Click here to see a picture that is as close as I will come to the NBA. This Saturday night I’ll be taking on all comers in a game of Knock-out during the Men’s Night Out at the Wheaton Sports Center. Men of all ages are welcome to join in the fun. Mark thinks I won’t last past the first challenger. I hoping to last a little longer than that. 6:41 PM Calling all men! This Thursday morning at First Watch, we’re going to finally learn the “Good News” part of the gospel presentation. We start serving breakfast at 5:55 AM. 8:07 AM Claudia Eaton sent along the following email:

Just thought I’d put out the word that my nephews just opened a little restaurant in Forest Park, Deko’s. It’s fast, good food….Burritos are their specialty but the burgers & hot dogs are good too. We went over there this afternoon to try it out. They are right next to the old Peaslee Hardware store on Madison.

The address is 7445 W. Madison, and the phone number is 708-366-0992. They serve Vienna Beef hot dogs, which I believe Steve Boisse says are the best. We had that discussion last year as part of the Great Chicago Hot Dog Challenge. Meanwhile, it seems like it’s been a long time since I’ve been to the Brown Cow Ice Cream Parlor in Forest Park. I could go to Deko’s for lunch and the Brown Cow for dessert.
