10:55 AM Today’s entry in the Crosswalk weblog is called Dear Abby. 10:41 AM Yesterday I rode my bike into Chicago. From Oak Park I went south to 16th Street, then east all the way to Western, then north across the Eisenhower to Augusta, then through the west side of Chicago, across Austin and back into Oak Park. That’s a good ride that takes you through some interesting neighborhoods. I had no problems and enjoyed the ride. 1521 miles YTD. 10:40 AM We took Josh to the airport and said goodbye several hours ago. He was in good spirits and very much ready to go. We’re happy for him. As I write this note, he and Pat McGuin are in the air heading to California. They will fly to China on Friday or Saturday.
