7:39 AM Time to hit the road. Just said goodbye to Kathleen. She did well in her swim meet last night, and now she’s on her way to school. Andy and I talked politics for a few minutes, but his last words to me were about Ole Miss football. The Auburn Tigers come calling in Oxford on Saturday night and Andy and Betty will be there. Auburn is currently # 3 in the nation so it will be tall order for the Rebels to prevail, but Andy says it could happen. I’ll be watching the game on ESPN. I can hear Marlene and Betty chatting upstairs. This has been a good trip and now we’re heading home to Oak Park.
