Things to do Before Going to Chicago
April 7, 2008
Early Thursday morning–around 5 AM–we leave for Chicago. We are eating dinner that night with friends in Chicago, on Friday we have a home meeting in Oak Park, on Saturday we have a board meeting and a meeting for volunteers who are helping us “optimize” the sermons on the Keep believing website, on Sunday I’m preaching at Village Bible Church in Sugar Grove then speaking at a leadership luncheon then meeting with the pastoral staff, and that night we hope to have another meeting to talk about how to integrate social networking on the Keep Believing website. And I may have a couple of radio interviews on Friday and Monday. That’s what we know about so far. That means we are “in the tunnel” between now and Thursday morning trying to get everything done before we leave. Here’s our current list …
2) Get a haircut.
3) File income taxes.
4) Pack books for Sugar Grove.
5) Revise Power Point for home meeting.
6) Mail thank you letters.
7) Figure out what to do with Dudley and Gary while we’re gone.
8) Pick up rental car.
9) Call Derek.
10) Pack “Why Did This Happen to Me?” for Book Depot.
11) Fix cover on the grill.
12) Set up Sunday night meeting.
13) Work on Samson project.
14) Put new sermons on the Shuffle.
