10:23 PM Excitement is building toward the Men’s Night Out this Saturday night. My friend Bruce Thorn read what Ken Aycock wrote, and then he suggested several additional nicknames: AIR OF OLAY or AIRALL 454 I like Air of Olay. It has a nice ring to it. 10:14 PM We had a great time at the Anchor for the Soul Label Party on Monday night. Two weeks ago, we decided to put self-adhesive labels to cover up the bad website address at the back of 20,000 copies of An Anchor for the Soul. Last Thursday night 29 people put labels on approximately 13,000 books. After Monday night, we had 2000 books that needed labels. As of tonight, that number is down about 400. Kathy Duggins says she will finish that tomorrow. This Marlene and I joined the crew on Monday night, and we managed to put labels in 1000 books. It was a fun and worthy project. Already we’ve sent out 2000 newly-labeled copies to Word of Life. They will bundle them with the Quiet Time Diary and the New Testament and send them to chaplains serving with the troops in Iraq.
