Early Wednesday morning 100,000 copies of An Anchor for the Soul arrived at our Book Depot in Pontiac, IL. Itwas just a little over a year ago that we printed another 100,000 copies, expecting them to last until 2014.

The big truck arrives in Pontiac, IL.
The first pallet of Anchors comes off the truck.
Steve Bury and Steve Oltman prepare Anchors for shipping.
This box of Anchors went to a prison chaplain in Connecticut.

But God has opened so many doors that we needed to reprint this summer.

We do need your help.
It costs $60,000 to print and ship the books.
We depend on our friends to help us in this ministry.

Anchor is a “gospel book” that explains the Good News in “Walmart English” for people who don’t go to church and don’t know the Bible but want to know how to go to heaven. We donate copies to prison ministries, military ministries, crisis pregnancy centers, rescue missions, street ministries, biker ministries, and many other evangelistic outreaches.

Here’s how it breaks down. It costs us 60 cents to print and ship each copy of Anchor (we ship them in boxes of 100 copies).

Your gift of $30 will provide 50 books.
Your gift of $60 will provide 100 books.
Your gift of $300 will provide 500 books.
Your gift of $600 will provide 1000 books.
You gift of $6000 will provide 10,000 books.

You can use our online donation page to give to this project, or you can mail a check to Keep Believing Ministries, P. O. Box 257, Elmhurst, IL 60126 (with the word “Anchor” in the memo section).

Here’s a note from a woman who received a copy of the book last Sunday:

I just finished your book, An Anchor for the soul, and wanted to let you know It gave me a closer knowledge that I have needed for some time. I was born and raised a Catholic. Works and working for my soul was like a rope around my neck. I was saved in 2004, but I had always felt the tug that I may be doing something not quite right.

I have been crying since I have read the book because of the burning in my heart and the freedom I feel, knowing that, I knew, and I know that I know, Jesus is the only way, He is my best Friend, and He has given me a freedom that NO One can take from me. He gave it, and I freely accepted it. I am so thankful for the way you have written this book so I can understand.

There are many others like this woman who want to be set free from their burdens.
Your gift will help us reach them.

Please join us in praying that these new books will find their way into the hands of men and women who need to know Jesus.
