Good Words for Today: October 10

‘‘I have raised my hand to the LORD, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth, and have taken an oath” (Genesis 14:22). Only when you glimpse the greatness of God will you have the strength to withstand temptation. Some of us spend too much worrying about temptation when we ought to spend more time contemplating the Lord.  When your God is big enough, temptation will be small enough that you can win the battle.
