Good Words for Today: September 1

“Then God said, ‘Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about'” (Genesis 22:2). There are times in life when obedience must be immediate.  If you stop to argue, that in itself is a form of disobedience.  If you try to talk God out of it, that too is disobedience.  If you offer an alternate plan, that is also disobedience. Blessed are those who obey and leave the results with God.
