In times like these, we need a fresh view of God and a long view of history.
The world and the face of Christianity seems to be rapidly changing. What will not change is that Christians believe something stupendous that the world does not understand at all. We aren’t called to save the world. Only God can do that. But we are called to be lights in an increasingly dark world.
You can be wrong about many things and still go to heaven.
But you can’t be wrong about Jesus and go to heaven.
If our theology leads us to write off the majority of the human race as a hopeless cause, then perhaps we need to check our theology with the Bible.
