Verbal Abuse in a Church Family
What should a church do about a parent who uses abusive language towards her children and husband? I am a Sunday school teacher and a six year old child has told me that his mom screams the f-word at him and her whole family. The child says that she has never hit him, but it seems like this child is traumatized by verbal abuse. This was shocking to me, because this child’s parents lead a Bible study at our church. I don’t know what to do, this has my stomach in knots.
