Good, Pleasing, Perfect - Romans 12:2
Moral compromise often begins with a tiny step in the wrong direction. This was the case with Lot, who was unmoved and apathetic to the moral decay around him. It may sound extreme, but the Lord has nothing to say to a compromising believer. You can have Sodom or you can have the Lord, but you can’t have them both. If you live for God, you will demonstrate to yourself and those who know you that that God’s way is always good, pleasing and ultimately perfect. More

The Standing Orders of the Gospel - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
The real impact of the gospel will be seen when we don’t feel joyful, when we don’t want to pray, and when we can’t think of a reason to be thankful. That’s when we discover if our Christianity is the genuine article or a spiritual counterfeit. More

Then He said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few…’ What did Jesus mean? He meant there were many people ready to be harvested for the Kingdom. All around us there are broken, bleeding, hurting people, ripped apart and left to die, they are ready to be reached if only someone will go to the harvest fields. If only someone will tell them about Jesus. Where are the harvest fields today? Let me name a few …. More

He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands - Daniel 4
The sovereignty of God is a mysterious doctrine because it brings us face to face with the problem of evil and free will. If God is sovereign, why is there evil in the universe? If man has free will, how can God be sovereign? Christians have debated these questions for centuries. Suffice it to say that God is sovereign and you are truly responsible for all the choices you make. Often we won’t understand how they work together, but they do. When we embrace this truth, we have the true freedom—and peace that comes with it—to stop trying to be God and let Him direct our lives. More

One Word You Shouldn’t Say In 1993 - Philippians 4:13
You can do “all things” if you rely on Jesus Christ. Not on your own strength, not on your own power, not on your own wisdom, and not on your own ability to figure things out. But if you will say, “Lord Jesus, this year I’m relying on you,” you can do all things through Christ. More
If God Is Sovereign, What Then? - Psalm 103:19-22

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
God and Human Suffering
I am having a hard time finding faith in God. My fiancee and her family are very religeous and they want me to be, but I am just having a hard time truly believing. Its hard for me to understand why things like the Halocaust and 9/11 and terrible tragedies like this are allowed to occur if God created everyone and God is the overseeing eye and everything else. I just cant understand how he would allow these things to happen. I want to believe in him I just am having a hard time justifying all these terrible things that happen when he is the creator and he controls everything that happens. It seems like someone who has the power to do anything and everything would allow millions of innocent men women and children to be killed. I dont mean to offend anyone with this I just really want an answer I try praying and I try believing and it just feels like nothing is happening. I want there to be a God and I want to go to heaven, I just wish that there was something that I could do to make myself truly believe in him. Please help me!
