If God Is Sovereign, What Then? - Psalm 103:19-22

Now I See - 2 Corinthians 3:12-4:6

He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands - Daniel 4
The sovereignty of God is a mysterious doctrine because it brings us face to face with the problem of evil and free will. If God is sovereign, why is there evil in the universe? If man has free will, how can God be sovereign? Christians have debated these questions for centuries. Suffice it to say that God is sovereign and you are truly responsible for all the choices you make. Often we won’t understand how they work together, but they do. When we embrace this truth, we have the true freedom—and peace that comes with it—to stop trying to be God and let Him direct our lives. More

Worthy is the Lamb - Revelation 5

Who is the Real Enemy? - Ephesians 6:12
Christianity is not a religion for sissies or for those who want an easy road. If you are looking for an escape from your problems, Jesus is not for you. Christianity is for strong men and women who will not flee from the struggle. More

Why I Am Not a Pessimist - Ephesians 5:15-17
Christians are both pessimists and optimists, but we are much more optimistic because though we see what is happening in the world around us, we know that Jesus Christ conquered the grave. And because he lives, we too will live. More

God and Human Suffering
I am having a hard time finding faith in God. My fiancee and her family are very religeous and they want me to be, but I am just having a hard time truly believing. Its hard for me to understand why things like the Halocaust and 9/11 and terrible tragedies like this are allowed to occur if God created everyone and God is the overseeing eye and everything else. I just cant understand how he would allow these things to happen. I want to believe in him I just am having a hard time justifying all these terrible things that happen when he is the creator and he controls everything that happens. It seems like someone who has the power to do anything and everything would allow millions of innocent men women and children to be killed. I dont mean to offend anyone with this I just really want an answer I try praying and I try believing and it just feels like nothing is happening. I want there to be a God and I want to go to heaven, I just wish that there was something that I could do to make myself truly believe in him. Please help me!
